Steve Holmes, the husband of Cassaundra Holmes, has issued a public statement concerning the published claims concerning the grave of Betty L. Potter and the designated plot for her husband, Fred Potter.

July 3, 2020 the Resident Press in Waldron, Arkansas reported the following statement:
On Friday, July 3, Steve Holmes issued a public statement in response to the complaint filed at the Scott Sheriff’s Office by Fred Potter regarding the headstone and burial plot at Pilot Cemetery in Waldron.
The root issue involves the descsecrationtion of the grave site of Betty Potter and the plot next to her that was designated for her husband, Fredrick R. Potter.
Desecration is the act of depriving something of its sacred character, or the disrespectful, contemptuous, or destructive treatment of that which is held to be sacred or holy by a group or individual. Wikipedia
Many people from Waldron, Arkansas and other locations have posted comments on the Resident Press Facebook page in response to the public statement issued by Steve Holmes.
